On May 28, 2017 Central Florida Community Planning & Development Inc., East Tampa Revitalization Partnership, The City Of Tampa Police Department and The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department are having an Outdoor Market at Alfred “Al” Barnes Jr. Park. We will be holding the Outdoor Market on the 4th Sunday of each month, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.  Due to the holidays, the November & December Markets will be held on the 3rd Sunday. We’ve chosen this time to accommodate church goers and choirs which will be ongoing participants in this event. The Outdoor Market will be a gathering space for the community and will work as an incubator for home based or cottage business to showcase their company. This monthly event is also designed to promote public health, create an active public space that will bring diverse people together and foster unity in our community. This event is a family-friendly zone also has a kid’s area, kid friendly games, face painting and much more. There will be entertainment consisting of family-friendly music, numerous choirs and other live entertainment groups.

Market officially starts May 28, 2017 - October 22, 2017 1:00 - 4:00 pm (4th Sundays) and November 19, 2017 - December 17, 2017 (3rd Sundays)

Tampa Police Department District Two Crime Prevention unit will be present to speak about safety information to the Arbor Walk Apartment residents. The Tampa Police Department will also answer questions about community concerns, give insight on current crime trends and engage the residents on how to be independent and safe.
