City of Tampa Women's History Month Celebration
As part of the 2018 Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), held at the Tampa Convention Center, U.S.
Mayor Bob Buckhorn presents the annual State of the City address from the new Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in Downtown Tampa. The address was streamed and cablecast live on Friday, May 11 at 9:30am. 
The 30th Annual City of Tampa Black History Celebration, taped February 2, showcases the legacy and achievements of African Americans throughout Tampa Bay. The theme for this year’s celebration is “THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE: REFLECTING ON OUR PAST, MOVING TOWARDS THE FUTURE”.
CTTV will be recording this annual event on Tuesday, February 12. The theme this year is “Ingenuity S.T.E.M.’s from the Black Community”. The Keynote speaker is retired City of Tampa employee Mr. James Jackson.
