Quarterly Community Safety Socials
The Tampa Police Department is always exploring new and effective ways to strengthen relationships with its community members. We've been evaluating the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Partnership Meetings during the past few month. After carefully considering feedback from residents and officers, we are pleased to announce that we will now host Quarterly Community Safety Socials in each of our three police districts.
The Socials will give community members an opportunity to hear from and share ideas with the district commanders and patrol officers who work in their neighborhoods. In addition to receiving valuable safety training, and first-hand knowledge of how the various areas within the police department are working together to keep Tampa’s neighborhoods safe. The Socials will supplement neighborhood-specific meetings and other exciting community-outreach initiatives.
We are looking forward to this new opportunity to grow and collaborate with you. The first round of Community Safety Socials will take place on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Ragan Park Community Center.
If you have a concern, please don’t wait to share it with us. Contact us as soon as possible when you have a public safety issue in your neighborhood.
