Board Of Trustees
The General Employees' Retirement Fund is administered by a seven member Board of Trustees. Three trustees are elected by the City's active general employees, with the exception of employees who have entered the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP); three trustees are appointed by the Mayor; and the final trustee is the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Tampa. The Board of Trustees approves pension benefits and manages the assets of the General Employees' Retirement Fund.
The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:30 P.M. in the Board Meeting Room at the Fire & Police Pension Fund located at 3001 N. Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33603. Everyone is invited to attend.
