City Seeks Public Input on Aids Memorial Park Design

The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department is holding a public workshop from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 20 to gather input on the redesign for Aids Memorial Park. The workshop will be held at the Kate Jackson Community Center, located at 821 S. Rome Ave.

Anyone interested in this topic is urged to attend the meeting and provide input, share information, and ask questions. Representatives from the Parks and Recreation Department, Crescent Communities and consultants from Dix, Lathrop will present the park history and collect citizen input for the new design.

In accordance with the American Disabilities Act and Section 286.26 Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, 813-274-5137, at least 48 hours prior to the date of the meeting.
