City Soliciting Input for Americans with Disabilities Transition Plan
On October 11, 2016, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., the City of Tampa will be seeking input from agencies, organizations and individuals with disabilities for its Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan to help address and prioritize current and future needs.
The Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind, 1106 W. Platt St., Tampa, FL., will host the discussion at the monthly meeting of the Tampa Mayor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities. The American with Disabilities Act Transition Plan is the City of Tampa's commitment to providing equal access to all of its public programs, services, facilities, and activities for persons with disabilities.
James Jackson, City Architect, and Karen Sinnreich, the City Human Rights Investigator will facilitate the discussion from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. The public is welcome.
