City of Tampa Opens Parks & Rec Centers for Healthcare Open Enrollment

Tampa, Fla. (November 24, 2015) – Today, City of Tampa announced that it will once again open its Parks & Rec centers for the Affordable Care Act open enrollment period. Navigators will be available at the following centers beginning Tuesday, December 1st to answer questions and help you enroll. These centers will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays each week through the enrollment deadline of January 31, 2016.
“As Mayor, it is my responsibility to do everything I can to ensure our friends and neighbors in the City remain happy and healthy for years to come,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn. “Everyone deserves the right to see a doctor when they are injured or get medications when they are sick. There are no exceptions. As a community we are stronger when we are healthier and we, at the City, are happy to do our part to make sure all of our citizens are covered.”
PLEASE NOTE: Navigators will not be available December 22 - January 1 due to the holidays.
