This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

This site is a one-stop shop for all Private Provider information, including easy access to required documents, guidance materials, and step-by-step checklists for the new process effective Feb. 1, 2020.

As part of the Mayor’s ‘Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow’ initiative, the re-launch of Tampa’s Private Provider program is part of a tool chest of options to help streamline the development process. The program allows a property owner the option to use a qualified ‘Private Provider to conduct plan review and inspection functions in lieu of submitting to the City for review. The same code requirements apply and must be fully complied with.

Here’s a preview of the new site.

Private Provider Registration: Registration is required for all Private Providers before commencing work.

Project Submittal Packet: Includes information and all forms required for the process.

Document Librarysummary of all relevant documents.

Checklists: A summary of all available checklists.

Fee Reduction: Describes the policy and process for calculating fee reduction (if applicable).
