City of Tampa Receives Two W3 Awards for Tampa’s Great Eight Video with Mayor Buckhorn

The City of Tampa Digital Media Production team received two W3 Awards for their video submission: Tampa’s Eight Great Years with Mayor Bob Buckhorn.

The submission earned Gold status in the ‘Social Video-Not-for-Profit for Social’ category, and Silver status in the ‘Branded Entertainment-Not-for-Profit for Video’ category.

Tampa’s Great Eight Years with Mayor Bob Buckhorn featured a recap of the former mayor’s time in office. From the growth of Tampa’s downtown, to park openings like Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, the expansion of the Tampa Riverwalk, new festivals, and more. 

The City of Tampa’s Marketing & Communications Department was honored to receive these prestigious awards that are designed to honor “the best of the web.”
