The City of Tampa released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the sale and development of the lot most commonly referred to as the ‘City Hall Parking Lot.’ The RFP encourages interested parties to submit proposals for a mixed-use development.

“This is particularly exciting because this is the essentially the most prominent undeveloped parcel of land in the downtown area,” said Mayor Bob Buckhorn. “The opportunities are endless and with the right vision and the ongoing transformation of Tampa’s downtown, this could be the new crown jewel of our skyline. Bring your best ideas and your most creative design and be a part of one of the most exciting real estate markets in the country.”

To obtain a copy of the RFP package, please visit the City of Tampa website at All interested parties are invited to submit proposals no later than 4:00 P.M., Friday, September 9, 2016 to the City of Tampa Purchasing Department, located at 306 East Jackson Street, second floor, Tampa, Florida 33602.
