City of Tampa Removing Solar Panels from Parking Pay Stations

This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

In preparation for Hurricane Irma, the City of Tampa is removing all solar panels from more than 100 parking pay stations throughout the city. During the time these stations are disabled, no citations will be written for failure to pay parking fees. Parking citations for other parking offenses, such as double parking or parking in front of fire hydrants, will still be given out during this time. We expect the equipment to be re-installed on Tuesday after the storm passes.
