The City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management’s storm debris removal operations continues to make significant progress as the final pass of storm debris collection is nearing completion.  An interactive progress map remains current on our website www.tampagov.net/solidwaste outlining the completed areas and those that remain incomplete.

As the City continues to collect storm-related material, residents are reminded items such as:  construction material, mattresses, couches, etc. not damaged by Hurricane Irma remain ineligible for collection.

Effective Monday, October 30, 2017, items placed curbside that were not generated by Hurricane Irma may be addressed by the City of Tampa’s Code Enforcement Division.  Additional charges may be incurred if non-storm related debris is not removed in a timely manner.

Please be reminded, that residents may dispose of unwanted materials at the McKay Bay Disposal Complex located at 112, S. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33605 or schedule a special pick by contacting the City of Tampa Utilities Consolidated Call Center at (813) 274-8811.
