City of Tampa Solid Waste Department Revises Collection Schedule to Observe Veteran’s Day
In observance of Veteran’s Day, City of Tampa offices will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017. As a result, customers scheduled for collection service on Friday, November 10, 2017 will be affected. The revised holiday collection schedule is as follows:
- Commercial Customers: Service will be delayed by one day as a result of the office closure. Customers expecting to receive 95/65 gallon cart, dumpster and roll-off service on Friday, November 10, 2017 will be serviced on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Regular service resumes on Monday, November 13, 2017.
- McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017 and will reopen on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
- Residential: There will be no collection on Friday, November 10, 2017. Collection service will resume on a normal schedule, Monday, November 13, 2017.

There will be two more revised collection schedules in 2017 as a result of upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas). In an effort to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will provide detailed information in advance of the revisions.
