City of Tampa Utilities Provides Multiple Ways To Pay

03/18/15
City of Tampa utility customers have a variety of options to make a payment on their utility account. Accounts may be paid by mail, phone, automatic withdrawal from a banking account, online, and in person.
  • To pay by mail, make checks payable to “City of Tampa Utilities” and mail to P.O. Box 30191, Tampa 33630-2191. Please include the payment coupon and provide the account number on the check to expedite processing.
  • To pay by phone using a Visa or Mastercard, call (813) 274-8811 and select option #2.
  • To pay using automatic withdrawal, an account must be established by submitting the request form found at this online location: www.tampagov.net/dept_City_of_Tampa_Utilities/programs_and_services/automatic_electronic_bill_payment.asp
  • To pay online, log onto www.tampagov.net/cotu and follow the “Bill Inquiry and Payment” link at the upper right of the page.
  • To pay in person, stop by 2105 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, between the normal weekday business hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The City also has an agreement with Westshore Pharmacy, located at 3206 South Westshore Boulevard, to accept and process payments. Payments are accepted at the Westshore Pharmacy location for accounts that include only current charges and are made prior to the due date on the bill. There are no other authorized private collection agencies under agreement with the City of Tampa to accept payments at this time.

City utility customers making payments on their accounts by other means or at other locations are cautioned that unnecessary delays in payment processing may result, particularly for accounts with a past due balance or where account reactivation is being sought.
