Composite Sketch of Suspect

After working with the victims and narrowing down a description, attached is a sketch of the possible suspect in two West Tampa stabbings. Sketch courtesy of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Previous Release:

Detectives Searching for Aggravated Battery Suspect Tampa Police detectives are investigating two separate stabbing incidents in the same area that appear to be random. The suspect descriptions are similar and detectives believe they may be related. Investigators have reason to believe the suspect may live in the area of the crimes.

SUSPECT: White or Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5'7", short curly hair and very skinny.

12/27/2015, 9:30 p.m., 4700 block of Armenia Avenue The victim was walking along Armenia Avenue when the suspect approached her from behind and stabbed her in the chest. She received serious, but non-life threatening injuries. At the time of this crime, he was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

1/20/2015, 8:30 p.m., South east corner of Armenia Avenue and Violet Street The victim was sitting on the bus bench when the suspect approached her and asked her if she was waiting for the bus. She said yes and as she turned to the direction of the bus, the suspect stabbed her in the neck. She sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
