Couple Sought in Louis Vuitton Theft

DATE/TIME: July 13, 2011 at 6:39 p.m.

LOCATION: Louis Vuitton, 2223 North West Shore Boulevard, Tampa

MALE SUSPECT: B/M, approx. 33 years old, 5'8", 170 lbs with long black dreadlocks.

FEMALE SUSPECT: B/F, approx. 34 years old, 5'4", 155 lbs with brown short hair. She has tattoos on her right arm and on the back of her shoulder blades.

DETAILS:

Tampa Police officers are searching for a couple that stole nine belts worth approximately $4,300 from the Louis Vuitton store in International Mall. The couple walked into the store together and the male suspect asked the clerk to try on a pair of shoes. When the sales clerk went to get the shoes, the female suspect walked over to the belt display and took several of them off the rack. The male suspect carried a black Express store shopping bag over to his female accomplice and she dropped the belts inside of it. When the clerk returned, the male suspect asked to try on a second pair of shoes. While the clerk was getting the shoes, the couple stole more belts and left the store.
