CTTV's "Tampa: Untold Stories" Shares With Viewers the Stories of Tampa's Many Mutual Aid Societies

Discover Tampa’s amazing past on this new CTTV series hosted by the area’s most engaging storyteller, the Honorable E.J. Salcines. A West Tampa native, Judge Salcines was appointed to Florida's Second District Court of Appeal in 1998, where he served for a decade.   This month on Tampa: Untold Stories, Judge Salcines takes us back in time and gives us an overview of the history of Tampa's Mutual Aid Societies - the Centro Espanol, the Cuban Club, Centro Asturiano, Marti-Maceo, and more.  Angel Ranon also makes a guest appearance to talk about the history and significance of these vital clubs in Tampa.  Replays Sundays at 3:30pm, Mondays at 8pm, Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Fridays at 2pm.
