Tampa Police detectives are working to identify and arrest a male suspect responsible for robbing two banks located along Dale Mabry Highway. The suspect committed his latest armed robbery at a Chase Bank shortly before noon on September 14th. Video surveillance from the bank shows the suspect filling out a slip in the lobby area and then taking a seat before walking up to the teller’s window. He gave the teller a note that said he had a gun and was demanding money. The teller complied with the note and once she gave the suspect the money he fled the scene.

Detectives believe that the same suspect committed a prior bank robbery on August 31st at a Regions Bank branch on South Dale Mabry Highway. In that incident, he again waited in line and then handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him cash and he fled the scene.
