Tampa Police Homicide detectives are asking for the community's help in identifying the suspect who shot and killed an armed security guard at a local night club. Shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, police responded to a shots fired call at Supa D's on East Skagway Avenue. When they arrived they found Kenyatha Walker lying down outside the club with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The shooting took place when the club was about to close for the night and detectives believe there was a large crowd of patrons exiting the club who may have seen the shooter. Detectives are urging those witnesses to come forward with any information they may have that could identify the suspect.

Anyone with information about this murder is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS(8477) or text "CSTB plus your tip" to 274637 (CRIMES). Anonymous tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 in cash.
