Tampa Police detectives are working to identify and arrest a male suspect responsible for robbing two adult novelty stores. The suspect committed his latest armed robbery at the XTC Adult Supercenter on October 13. Video surveillance from the store shows the suspect briefly looking at merchandise at the front counter, before he asked the clerk to make change for a “twenty.” The suspect then pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded all of the money inside register. The suspect ordered the clerk to go to the back of the store and then he fled on foot with cash from the business.

Detectives believe that the same suspect committed a prior armed robbery on September 28 at the Love Shack. In that incident, the suspect again displayed a firearm and demanded cash. The clerk gave him money out of the register and he fled the scene on foot.

There were no injuries reported in either case.

Anyone with information about these armed robberies is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) or text "CSTB plus your tip" to 274637 (CRIMES). Anonymous tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000 in cash. You can review the surveillance video on You Tube.
