Detectives Searching for Serial Bank Robber

WHEN: April 18, 2011 a.m., 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Mercantile Bank, 5201 North Lois Avenue, Tampa
SUSPECT: W/M, early to mid 50s, 5’10” – 6’, 220-240 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black dress shoes and a black baseball cap. He had a black fabric over his face and sunglasses.
DETAILS: The suspect walked into the bank, pointed a gun at the teller and demanded money. After the teller gave the suspect the money, he fled in grey Ford F150 pickup truck with chrome wheels and chrome bedrails. The bank robber is a suspect in three other bank robberies. Detectives are working with the FBI.
The robber is also a suspect in the following bank robberies:
1. 11/2/2010, the BB & T Bank, 6213 SR 54, Elfers, Florida (Pasco County)
2. 12/8/2010, the First Citrus Bank,13850 Sheldon Road, Tampa, Florida (Hillsborough County)
3. 1/28/2011, the Superior Bank, 1300 Pinehurst Drive, Spring Hill, Florida (Hernando County)
