Several neighbors heard gunshots at 5:55 Sunday morning and called 911. Officers found the 16-year-old victim dead at the scene. Her 13-year-old brother was rushed to Tampa General Hospital in very critical condition. The teenagers were the only ones at home at the time of the shooting. Detectives have determined this is not a random act of violence. It appears the home was targeted. More information on suspects will be released later today as it becomes available. Steve Hegarty with the Hillsborough County School Board will release additional information on the teenagers as both were enrolled in Hillsborough County Schools.
