Downtown Traffic Advisory for Saturday, October 14 - Tampa Police Memorial Run
Traffic is expected to be heavier than normal this weekend in and around downtown Tampa due to the 2017 Tampa Police Memorial Run. Drivers and pedestrians alike are advised to allow for extra travel time and to travel through the area with caution.
The races begin with the race on Saturday, October 14, 2017at 8 AM and street closures will begin at 5 a.m. and end approximately 1 p.m.
Please use suggested routes on the included maps to avoid congestion and delays.

Franklin St. from Kennedy Blvd to Twiggs St.
Whiting St. from Florida to Tampa St.
Platt St. / Channelside Dr. from Parker St. to Franklin St.
Bayshore Blvd. from Brorein St. to Platt St to Rome Ave.
Ashley Dr. From Channelside Dr to Brorein St to Whiting St
Franklin St. from Whiting St. to Brorein St
Franklin St. from Channelside Dr. to Old Water St.
Whiting St. from Franklin St to Ashley Dr.
The Tampa Police Department would like to remind all run participants and spectators to report suspicious activity. If you see something, say something. No tip is too small. Report anything suspicious to the nearest police officer or submit an anonymous tip using the TPD mobile app available on iPhones and Androids.
