Eastbound Lane Closure on W Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd starts tomorrow for Emergency Utility Maintenance Work

Starting tomorrow at 9am, the outer eastbound lane of W Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard between N MacDill Avenue and N Gomez Avenue will close while department crews begin emergency repairs on a sewer mainline. One (1) eastbound lane will remain open at all times, with delays.

Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by close of business on Friday, September 13, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
