Effective immediately, the center north and southbound lanes of S Manhattan Avenue between W Fair Oaks Avenue and W Wallcraft Avenue are closed while a department contractor begins a sewer pipe cleaning project in the area. Motorists are advised to merge into the remaining open lanes. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow.

This maintenance project will be completed by close of business on June 26, weather permitting. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
