Tomorrow, June 1, Old City Hall and the fountains and palm trees in Curtis Hixon Park, will light up orange in honor of National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

"Here in Tampa we stand with our young people and all of those affected by gun violence,” said Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn. “The Florida Legislature may have prevented cities from passing common sense gun legislation but they can’t stop us from shining the light on this issue and their hypocrisy.”
