Grand Opening of Big Rays Fish Camp on the Riverwalk Sets Sail August 22nd
TODAY, August 22nd, the Sail Plaza will celebrate the grand opening of the highly anticipated Big Ray’s Fish Camp on the Riverwalk.
As part of the Tampa Convention Center’s capital improvement plan, The Sail Plaza received several upgrades over the last few months, including the addition of expanded seating, new shade structures, upgraded restrooms, and the construction of a new building for Big Ray’s Fish Camp on the Riverwalk. Operating alongside The Sail, Big Ray’s Fish Camp will offer a taste of Tampa flavor for convention-goers, locals, and visitors alike.
The grand opening of Big Ray’s Fish Camp on the Riverwalk will take place on Thursday, August 22nd (5-6pm), and will feature drink specials, live entertainment, games, and an opening ceremony with Mayor Jane Castor. The public is invited to join this grand opening celebration and experience this new waterfront dining experience along the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk.
About Big Ray’s Fish Camp on the Riverwalk
Big Ray’s Fish Camp on the Riverwalk is the second installment of local South Tampa seafood restaurant, Big Ray’s Fish Camp. A hometown favorite, Big Ray’s Fish Camp is known for their highly coveted grouper sandwiches. In addition to grouper, Big Ray’s Fish Camp on this Riverwalk will serve a variety of seafood items including conch fritters, oyster po’boy, blackened shrimp burgers, lobster corn dogs, and more.
