The Tampa Downtown Partnership, along with Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and Councilman Orlando Gudes, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday to officially open the 2019 Winter Village and ice skating rink at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. This year’s holiday celebration is expected to be the largest yet, as more people continue to enjoy Tampa’s booming Downtown.

Winter Village, presented by the Tampa Bay Lightning, will run from November 22 until January 5. The family-friendly village includes Tampa’s only outdoor ice-skating rink, local shops, food, holiday light displays choreographed to music, Winter Village Express on the TECO Line Streetcar, along with special events all season long.
