Intermittent lane closures on S Manhattan Avenue between W Bay Avenue and W Gandy Boulevard begin June 7 for Utility Maintenance Work

Starting at 9 p.m. on June 7, 2020, department crews will begin scheduled maintenance cleaning and televising the sewer main pipes on S Manhattan Avenue between W Bay Avenue and W Gandy Boulevard.


This scheduled maintenance will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. through June 13, 2020. Crews will work in the northbound lane and there will be intermittent lane closures. The southbound lane will remain open at all times, with delays. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. 


The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
