Kids Art Camp at Ybor Art Studio Taps Children's Creative Side

This summer tap into your child's creative side at the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department’s Kids Art Camp at Ybor Art Studio, which is being held June 20 – August 10.
The Kids Art Camp at Ybor Art Studio is an eight week exploration of art and will be themed on different art movements. Campers will learn about surrealism and the work of Dali and create a unique design with opposing shapes and contrasting colors in the late collage style of Matisse. Weekly projects will be centered on the exploration of art history and mediums including clay, sculpture, painting, and printmaking.

Camp Dates and Times
June 20 – August 10
Tuesdays & Wednesdays
1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for ages 8 - 12 years
3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. for ages 13-17 years

The camp fees is $120 for the eight weeks. A current Rec Card is required to participate in camp. Current Rec Card holders can register online. Not a Rec Card holder?
