Starting at 9am on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, department crews are closing the two (2) southbound right  lanes on North Armenia Avenue between W Nassau Street and W Cypress Avenue to begin emergency repairs on a sewer mainline pipe. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. The left southbound lanes will remain open, with delays.

The completion of this work, including restoration of the road and a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by close of business on Friday, October 11, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion. A hi-resolution detour map is embedded below.
