Lane Shift on Northbound Nebraska Avenue at Caracas Street

The northbound lane of Nebraska Avenue will close at Caracas Street tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. for Tampa Water Department crews to replace a 2-inch meter. Northbound traffic at that location will shift to the center turn lane. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

Work is expected to be completed and normal traffic patterns are expected to resume by 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, depending on weather conditions. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this period. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
