Automated garbage and recycling collection has improved trash removal in the City of Tampa, and residents can help by keeping their carts in tip-top shape. Some employers are starting to make riding to work easy, safe, and fun for their employees.  USF’s College of Public Health researchers were recently awarded a National Institutes of Health grant to identify optimal drug candidates that could lead to a fast-acting treatment for rare, but deadly, infections caused by microscopic, free-living amoeba found in warm freshwater lakes and rivers and in soil.  And ZooBoo KIDS is all-new for kids ages 11 & under at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
