Mayor’s River O‘Green Fest Returns to Curtis Hixon
6th Annual River Dyeing Takes Place March 18 with Extended Games and Attractions
Join Mayor Bob Buckhorn on March 18 for the dyeing of the Hillsborough River to a shade of Kelly green during the sixth annual Mayor’s River O’Green Fest, presented by Grow Financial and brought to you by Tampa Downtown Partnership.
The Hillsborough River will go green at 11am and festivities will continue with live music, Irish dancing, food trucks, Irish beer, and games and activities for the whole family.
New this year, the festivities will kick off at 9:30am in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park with a River O' Green Gallop, a fun run/walk along the Riverwalk to Cotanchobee Ft. Brooke Park, and continue with a family scavenger hunt, a Leprechaun costume contest, as well as a Shamrock Scavenger Crawl for adults.
