Mayor Buckhorn and Panel to Discuss Tampa Innovation Friday

City of Tampa and Digi.City host forum highlighting local leadership in 21st century technologies

 
On Friday, April 28th, Mayor Bob Buckhorn and a panel of local policymakers and business leaders will participate in a forum, “Digi.City Connects: Tampa Roundtable,” highlighting Tampa’s commitment to continue leading the United States in technology innovation including becoming one of the nation’s first “Smart Cities.”

 
The event, co-hosted by the University of Tampa Lowth Entrepreneurship Center and Digi.City, a platform analyzing policy implications of smart city technologies, will focus on Tampa’s efforts to facilitate cooperation among government, industry and communities to ensure it continues its role as a leader in American innovation.
