Mayor Buckhorn, Coast Bike Share to Celebrate Launch of Bike Share - Ready to roll through ribbon in historic Ybor City

Mayor Bob Buckhorn will join Coast Bike Share to launch bike share in Tampa. To celebrate, Mayor Buckhorn and Coast Bike Share will hop on a bike and ride through a ribbon near Centennial Park in historic Ybor City.

The ribbon cutting marks Coast Bike Share’s launch for Founding Members. Following the event, Founding Members will have access to the bikes and 30 hub locations throughout downtown, historic Ybor City, Hyde Park and the Channel District. A full system launch will follow on Sunday, December 7, 2014.

Founding membership sales will continue through December 6, 2014 and include 90 minutes of daily ride time, a free helmet and early access to the bikes. Starting December 7, 2014, daily, monthly and annual memberships will be available for purchase and will include 60 minutes of daily ride time.
