Media Advisory -- Photo Opportunity -- City of Tampa to Hoist Banner to Support Tampa Bay Lightning

WHO:         Mayor Bob Buckhorn, City of Tampa
                    Tod Leiweke – CEO, Tampa Bay Lightning 
                    Dave Andreychuk - VP of Fans & Business Development, Tampa Bay Lightning

WHAT:        Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Tod Leiweke, and Dave Andreychuk will be on hand
                    to hoist a banner on the side of the Tampa Municipal Office Building in
                    support of the Tampa Bay Lightning as they get ready to take on the Boston
                    Bruins for the first game of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference
                    Finals this weekend. Lightning television play-by-play broadcaster Rick 
                    Peckham will emcee the event. Fans are invited to attend, and are encouraged
                    to wear their Lightning gear and apparel to show their support for our team.


                    The Lightning have also planned several activities for Friday. Following the
                     banner hoisting, fans will be treated to a free lunch in Lykes Gaslight Square
                     Park with Thunderbug, the Lightning Girls, and the Lightning Street Team on
                     hand. Also on Friday, the Lightning will be bringing the beach downtown to
                     Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Team Sandtastic will 
                     turn 12 tons of sand into a Lightning-themed sculpture.
