WHO:                 Artist Pablo Valbuena of Madrid, Spain

                            Valbuena develops artistic projects and research focused on space,
                            time and perception and this is his first installation in the U.S. 
                            Valbuena has presented his work recently at the 5th International 
                            Seoul Biennale, Museum of the Moving Image, Ok Center for 
                            Contemporary Art, Laboral Centro de Arte, Netherlands Media Arts 
                            Institute, BankArt, Matadero Madrid, Museum of Contemporary Art
                            Taipei, and other exhibitions and public art projects in Singapore, 
                            Canada, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, USA, Brazil and Spain.

WHAT:                Test-run for N27057’00” W82027’41”, a 2011 Lights on Tampa project. 

                             N27057’00” W82027’41” (longitude / latitude coordinates of the
                             Poe Parking Garage) is an investigation of light, space and perception.
                             Using large-scale projectors, Valbuena uses light as a physical 
                             material, and appears to build space in the way that bricks build 
                             walls and will bring a renewed emphasis to the exterior of the Poe
                             Parking garage façade located on Ashley Drive.
