On the October edition of City of Tampa Television's (CTTV) Spotlight Tampa, many families are moving off the streets and into a house filled with hope thanks to Miracle Place and the efforts of Metropolitan Ministries. Tampa firefighters at TIA train constantly to always be prepared. The historic Tampa Theatre is embracing its ghostly past with a brand new series during the spookiest month of the year. Mayor Buckhorn cut the ribbon to officially open the 22nd Street Roundabout in East Tampa. We get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Tampa Convention Center and all the moving parts that make each show a success. Zoo Boo, the largest family Halloween event in Tampa Bay, returns to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. Mayor Buckhorn launched his inaugural Mayor’s Landlord Tenant Training program. HART's new premier bus service, Metro Rapid line, features Transit Signal Priority, modern stations with ticket vending machines, and increased frequencies. USF Health has created the Diabetes Home for Healthy Living. We are introduced to Idea Zone, MOSI's new do-it-yourself laboratory. The baby boom continues at Busch Gardens with the birth of two giraffes and the arrival of three lion cubs. New luxury apartments in the Channel District hope to meet the high demand for downtown living spaces, and we get a peek at what is in style during Fashion Week.
