Motorcyclist Involved in Weekend Accident Dies from Injuries

Motorcyclist passed away due to injuries on 6/14/2013 at 8:24 a.m.

A motorcyclist who was involved in a traffic accident during the weekend passed away at Tampa General Hospital this morning (6/14/2013). Johnny Jean was riding a Honda motorcycle southbound on 22nd Street when he collided with a Camaro.
Tampa Police detectives are still investigating the June 8, 2013 crash. The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the Camaro violated the motorcyclist's right of way while making a turn.
On 6/8 at approximately 1:44 pm Tampa Police Department responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle crash located on N 22nd Street and E. Frierson. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to Tampa General Hospital where he is listed as serious and critical.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the Camaro violated the motorcyclist's right of way while making a turn.
