New Classes at the Ybor Art Studio

Fall in love this February with these new classes at the City of Tampa’s Ybor Art Studio, located in the heart of the historic district at 1800 E. 8th Avenue.

Printmaking – This class will introduce students to printmaking processes such as screen-printing, block-printing and alternative photography.
Mondays: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Ages: Adults
Cost: $10/week

Wednesdays: 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Ages: 13-17 years
Cost: $6/week
Mixed Media Art Class – This class provides a broad range of art projects in mediums of sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and clay. Both traditional and non-traditional approaches are taught and ordinary objects are transformed into creative works of art.
Tuesdays: 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Ages: 8-12 years
Cost: $5/week
Beginning Sewing – This class introduces beginners to the basics of sewing. Projects include pajama pants/shorts, tote bags pencil bags, reusable lunch bags and many more.
Mondays: 4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Ages: 9-16 years
Cost: $5/ week
