NIMS 300 - Intermediate Incident Management System Class

The following three offerings of the below listed class is available through the Florida State Fire College via a grant from the National Fire Administration.

NIMS 300 -- INTERMEDIATE INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

NIMS 300: In this course, the student must be able to list and describe the duties of various positions within the incident command system, construct an incident management organization for a given incident or event, including appropriate procedures for establishing command, transferring command, and terminating an incident, demonstrate knowledge of efficient incident resource management including logistics, finance, administration, and record-keeping, demonstrate a familiarity with air operations, and demonstrate knowledge of incident planning processes.

NOTE: This class WILL meet requirement for NIMS 300 to qualify for FO 1 certification exam.

Day 1 August 31. 2011 0900 to 1700
Day 2 September 1, 2011 0900 to 1700
Day 3 September 2, 2011 0900 to 1500

You MUST attend all three days to successfully complete this course. Instructor will consider attendance for Day 1, 2 and Day 3 at different locations to fit your schedule.

You need to register via email ert.tc@earthlink.net to reserve a seat in the class.

This class will count for 4 hours for recertification for Instructor and Inspector.
