Operation 'Power Sweep'Wraps-Up with 75 Arrests

The Tampa Police Department would like to announce the conclusion of a two-day operation named "Operation Power Sweep". This two-day operation coordinated multiple units within the department which included: Uniform Patrol, District Latent Investigation Squad (DLIS), Rapid Offender Control (ROC), School Resource, Crime Prevention, Traffic, Probation and Parole, Code Enforcement, and others. The below captioned arrests are an accumulation of the two-day operation, which targeted specific geographic areas within District One. The ultimate mission is to continue to achieve a continual crime reduction and thus allowing the citizens to live in a safe environment.
