PAL Kids Challenge Chief Jane Castor and Pal Officers to a Putt Putt Golf Contest

WHAT:
The PAL kids recently challenged Chief Jane Castor and the PAL staff to a friendly Putt Putt golf competition. Their goal, besides beating the Chief, is to promote the Officer Randy Davis Memorial Golf Tournament. This tournament will raise much needed funds for a new PAL gymnasium. The current gym has substantial roof and structural damage.

DETAILS:
The Police Athletic League's (PAL) current 40-year-old gym's roof needs significant repairs. Contractors have determined that it is not cost effective to make the repairs. PAL is a vital resource for the Community that is dedicated to providing affordable after school, summer and athletic opportunities to more than 500 low to moderate income Tampa Bay youth a year. The activities and facilities, such as the gym, provide an outlet for these children, keeping them on the right track.
