Partial Lane closures on N Himes Avenue and W Ellicott Street begin June 3 for Utility Maintenance Work
This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.
Starting at 9am on June 3, the northbound inside lane of North Himes Avenue and the southbound turn lane of West Ellicott Street will close while a department contractor repairs a broken 8” wastewater gravity pipe. The remaining lanes will not close during this repair. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow.
The completion of this repair with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by close of business on June 5, weather permitting. A hi-resolution map showing the work area and detour route is embedded below.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
