Partial Lane closures on South Manhattan Avenue begin January 20 for Utility Maintenance Work

This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

Starting at 6 pm on Monday, January 20, a portion of the inside northbound lane on South Manhattan between W Fair Oaks Avenue and W Wallcraft Avenue will close while a department contractor cleans and televises the sewer system in the area. Additionally, all turns will be restricted from South Manhattan Avenue onto West Wallcraft Avenue. One northbound lane will remain open at all times, with delays. Barricades and signage will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow.

This scheduled maintenance will continue nightly between the hours of 6 pm-6 am through January 24, weather permitting. A hi-resolution map showing the work area is embedded below.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
