Peaceful Public Assembly

On December 5, 2014, between 1800 hours and 2100 hours a peaceful public assembly was held at Gaslight Park located at 410 N. Franklin Street. There were approximately 200 to 250 citizens who participated in the assembly. The citizens walked west on Kennedy Boulevard, in the middle of the street, blocking intersections for a short period of time. The crowd turned around at Kennedy Boulevard and Brevard Street, and returned to Gaslight Park a short time later. Once there, they disbanded without incident. There were no arrests reported.
