PIPES Project will impact traffic patterns near Raymond James Stadium through December 2020
The Tampa Water Department will be performing work around an extended perimeter of Raymond James Stadium in order to improve the reliability of the water distribution system. Work crews will be assessing the condition of existing water valves, making repairs or replacements as needed. This work is part of the City’s PIPES (Progressive Infrastructure Plan to Ensure Sustainability) Program and represents our continued commitment towards improving Tampa’s infrastructure.
The Water Department will make every effort to minimize the impact on customers and the general public, and will provide periodic updates. This project will begin July 6, 2020 and is expected to be completed by mid-December 2020.
A traffic release will be issued when work is about to commence in a particular area of the City. The release will include details about the neighborhoods that will be affected so that residents, businesses and motorists can plan accordingly.
