DETAILS:

Tampa Police detectives are working to locate Jaidyel Valdes for the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).  On December 16, the state agency obtained an emergency court order demanding Char-Ann Santana to place her 10-month-old son into state custody.  The court order was issued based on Santana’s known history of drug abuse and aggravated assault.  Santana does not have legal custody of the missing infant.  The two have ties to various neighborhoods throughout the City of Tampa, as well as, areas in Hillsborough and Pasco County.

TPD Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating Jaidyel and his mother who has an active warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Anyone who has information about either of their whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.  Anonymous tips maybe eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

This case does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert at this time.
