Police Find Body of Missing Two-Year-Old

At 7:38am, divers recovered the boy’s body in 6 feet of water.

Tampa police received a 911 call at 8:37 p.m. about missing Armani Pierce. He and his mother and four-year-old sister were watching his six-year-old brother during football practice at Temple Crest Park. After practice, his mother looked away for a moment and the boy ran off. A police bloodhound began tracking the little boy. Officers, air service, TPD marine patrol, FWC and Tampa Fire boats are searching on the water. Officers on foot are going door to door and checking on sexual predators in the area. While there was never any indication that the boy was abducted, the department treated it as a possible abduction. FDLE’s CART Team (Child Abduction Response Team) sent 6 agents National Center for Missing and Exploited Children sent a representative.
